Placer Gold Separating Process Flow
Placer gold deposit is the gold-bearing mixed sand sediment formed after long-term weathering of vein gold deposit. Gold is free in the sediment, and the specific gravity difference with sand and stone is very obvious. Therefore, the beneficiation method and process of Shajin gold deposit usually adopts the gravity separation method to extract gold from Shajin gold deposit.
The content of gold in sand gold mine is very low, generally need to be through a variety of high efficiency, energy saving and other beneficiation equipment to be beneficiation and enrichment, in a variety of beneficiation methods, gravity separation method is a method with energy saving, high efficiency, environmental protection and other beneficiation advantages, and gravity separation method is extremely suitable for the separation of sand gold mine, therefore, gravity separation method is the main method of sand gold mine beneficiation.
The beneficiation method and flow process of sand gold ore are firstly used to extract gold and all kinds of associated heavy minerals from the raw ore of sand gold by gravity separation method as far as possible, and then separated gold and all kinds of associated heavy minerals by single operation method such as gravity separation process, flotation process and magnetic separation process, or combined operation method, so as to achieve the purpose of comprehensive recovery. The beneficiation methods and processes of sand and gold ore mainly include washing process, screening division sequence, gravity separation process and selection process.
Beneficiation methods and processes of sand gold ore are mainly divided into:
1) Ore washing operation
The ore washing process is an important process before the separation of sand gold mine, because the sand gold mine contains more weathered clay, sand gold is wrapped in it, if not in advance of its impurity removal treatment, the weathered clay wrapped gold will be discharged with the waste rock in the screening process, thus reducing the recovery rate of sand gold mine. The equipment used in the ore washing process of sand gold mine: plane vibrating screen, cylinder washing machine, cylinder screen, etc.
2) Screening operation
Generally large gravel does not contain gold, screening operations are mainly in order to screen large gravel without gold, in order to improve the efficiency of gold selection. Normally, screening operations can remove about 30 percent of the waste rock. The screen size of sand gold screening equipment needs to be determined according to the size composition parameters of gold in the original ore, and the common screen size is generally 10-20mm. When roughing is done with a fixed chute, the screen size can be larger, but the upper limit cannot exceed 60mm. The equipment used in the screening sequence of sand gold mine: water screen is used in the screening operation of sand gold mine, and the water on the screen is washed to break loose slime, in order to improve the screening efficiency of sand gold mine. Fixed selection of gold plant often use vibrating screen or screen, gold mining ship is often used cylinder screen.
3) Gravity Separating Operation
Gravity separation operation is the key operation of sand gold ore dressing, which is the process of breaking most of the waste rock and obtaining the coarse gold concentrate. Therefore, the effect of the process directly affects the ore dressing index of the whole sand gold dressing process.
4) Concentrate separation
The concentrate process is one of the essential processes in the ore dressing process, which can fully improve the recovery efficiency of gold and other heavy placer minerals and realize the purpose of comprehensive recovery. According to the different types of sand and gold deposits, the selection operation can be carried out by various equipment and methods such as gravity separation equipment, mercury mixing equipment and so on, in order to further increase the gold content.
The principle of mineral processing method and process of placer gold ore is to separate gold concentrate from other minerals according to the different proportion of ore in raw ore. The first step in the gravity separation process is desliming, in which dirt is washed away from minerals. Carry out the second step to screen larger stones and remove them. The last step is usually treated by the method of shaker + mercury mixer. Other gravity separation equipment includes jig, spiral chute and so on.
