Shaking table is a high-efficiency gravity separation equipment for separating fine-grained ores. It is widely used for the separation of tungsten, tin, tantalum, niobium and other rare and precious metal ores, as well as iron manganese ores. In recent years, it has also been reported that shaking table is used to recover iron minerals in tailings of magnetic separation plants and non-metallic minerals such as mica.
Shaker beneficiation is a process in which mineral particles are loose, layered and zoned on the inclined bed by means of the combined action of asymmetric reciprocating motion of machinery and thin inclined water flow, so as to separate minerals according to different densities.
The shaker has an inclined bed surface, and many parallel Laifu strips or grooves are nailed on the bed surface along the longitudinal direction. One end of the shaking table is equipped with a transmission mechanism, which drives the bed surface to make asymmetric reciprocating shaking along the longitudinal direction. The bed surface is inclined to the tailings side in a transverse direction of 1.5 degrees to 5 degrees. The slurry and flushing water are given to people from the side with high slope of the bed surface. In this way, the ore particles are affected by the bed surface shaking longitudinally and the transverse water flow on the bed surface, so that the ore particles are layered according to the density and particle size and move along different directions of the bed surface, showing a regular “fan-shaped” zoning, and are discharged out of the bed from different areas at the concentrate end and tailings side of the bed surface respectively, and are divided into concentrate, medium ore and tailings by receiving them respectively.
Advantages of shaker beneficiation: ① rich ore ratio (ratio of concentrate grade to raw ore grade) is higher than many other beneficiation methods, up to more than 100 times; ② Qualified concentrate and waste tailings can be obtained by one separation; ③ The ore is fan-shaped zoning on the bed surface, which is convenient for observation and adjustment; ④ The products can be separated by dividing plates according to needs and then taken separately, so as to obtain a variety of products; ⑤ It does not consume chemicals and consumes little electricity.
Disadvantages of shaker beneficiation: ① large floor area; ② Large water consumption; ③ The treatment capacity of bed surface per unit area is low.
