Therefore, gravity gold separation is one of the more economical and effective methods, which is very common in practical application. so, what are the gravity equipment used in gold ore separation? Let’s take a look.

1. Jigging Machine

Jig is a kind of gravity beneficiation equipment with broad feed size, and its maximum feed size is mainly related to the ore outlet of concentrate.

Jigging gold phase pairs are more suitable for sorting coarse mineral particles, and the application effect is good for the rough separation of gold ore. The beneficiation range of metal minerals is usually between 50mm and 0.074mm, and the lower limit particle size of placer gold can be up to 0.04mm when the specific gravity difference is not less than 1.25 and the ore monomer is dissociated.

The jigging gold separation process is simple to operate and basically consistent with the traditional mercury mixing method. The free gold can be obtained by using the difference of specific gravity. Due to the relatively large proportion of sulfide minerals compared to gangue, so sometimes will be discharged at the bottom, so the taste of jig concentrate gold is not too high.

2. Shaker Table

Shaker is very similar to manual gold selection of a gravity beneficiation equipment, more suitable for processing fine particles of minerals, according to different ore size, divided into mud bed, fine sand bed, coarse sand bed three kinds. The sludge bed is mainly used to treat the ore particles of 0.074-0.037mm. Fine sand bed is mainly used for processing 0.5-0.074mm ore particles; The coarse sand bed is mainly used to deal with 2.0mm-0.5mm ore particles. Due to the low processing capacity of the shaker, it is mostly enriched as tailings and can be used to separate the required ore at one time. Shaking table is in the level of medium flow to choose other equipment, using the actuator drives the bed surface vertical reciprocating motion, do flow and bed surface differential movement, the particles in the reciprocating motion through perpendicular to the stratification in the bed surface and parallel to the bed surface separation effect, make different granularity material different interval discharge from the bed surface, realize the separation.

3.Spiral Chute
Spiral chute combines the characteristics of shaker, spiral separator, centrifugal separator and other equipment, suitable for the treatment of low mud content of fine minerals. 
Is the use of inclined water for separation of mineral processing equipment, material with the help of water flow, mineral gravity, ore particles and trough bottom friction force of the combined force, so that the ore particles according to the specific gravity settlement in the trough in different areas, the specific gravity of the ore particles are taken away by the flow, leaving more than significant ore particles, that is, to complete the separation.

The above three kinds of gold gravity separation equipment are rarely used alone in the separation of pulse gold minerals, and are basically used together or in combination with flotation equipment, which can effectively improve gold indexes and total gold recovery.
